The War Memorial has been cleaned and refurbished, along with a framed Roll of Honour which now hangs in the Hall and the Village Hall has been rendered and painted.
The Councillors unveiled a plaque to commemorate the occasion and refreshments were provided afterwards in the Hall. Anne Clarke, Chairwoman of Middridge Parish Council, said in a short address that the successful completion of these varied projects was a great example of working in partnership to benefit the whole community.
