Last week all schools in Newton Aycliffe were invited to bring  girls and boys football teams to a pre league MGFA festival at Greenfield Community College.  Well done to Byerley Park who were overall winners of the boys trophy and Vane Road who won the girls trophy with some fantastic football.
Next week from Thurs 3rd Oct,  is the start of Sedgefield’s SSP Primary Football league at Greenfield.  Sedgefield SSP are working in partnership with Greenfield to provide a number of CVL’s on Greenfields floodlit 3G pitch.  Twelve local schools will travel to Greenfield to take part.  Good luck to all involved, any schools not yet entered can do so via the sedgefieldssp.co.uk web site.
Martin Gray football academy at Greenfield is entering its third year and going from strength to strength.  Offering girls and boys holiday programmes, U11 & U8 high quality coaching every Tuesday 5.30 to 7pm, Greenfield Academy for elite players aged 11 to 16, (including performance training, competitive oppor-tunities, leadership training, club links, player mentoring and educational support). This year has seen the introduction of our Primary OSH academy for elite players in our local Primary schools.
