Last Saturday Horndale Residents’ Association arranged a trip Newcastle Dogs where everyone enjoyed the night with good food and good company. Imogen and Sophie Johnson celebrated their birthday and are pictured with the winning dog of our race The Horndale Stakes.

Our next meeting is this Wednesday 7th March starting at 6pm with refreshments at 5.45, Greenfield Arts Centre.

Our guest speakers will be Simon Day and Jane Johnson from County Durham and Tees Valley Rescue Mission. They will talk about their vital work raising awareness about modern day slavery, supporting those who have been rescued from slavery, they also focus on the homeless and substance misuse.

Modern day slavery is closer than we would all like to think and this work is vital in combating it. So if you want to find out more please join us and see and hear about their work.
