Whitehouse Funeral Service held their Open Day on Saturday 13th September.

On the day the fleet of cars was on show along with ‘Casper’ the VW Hearse, a motorcycle and sidecar from Motorcyclefunerals.com. There were different types of coffins on display including banana leaf, wicker and woollen.

A steady flow of people attended the open day and a Service of Dedication of the premises and Chapels of Rest was held, led by Jan Carr. There were displays of art works and crafts from local people. The Butterwick Hospice was in attendance selling crafts, art work and cakes raising money for this worthy cause.

A representative from Golden Charter, the funeral planning company was also present helping answer lots of questions from visitors.

Many thanks to all who attended the successful day and supporting a local independent company.
