Woodham Academy is getting in to the spirit of Christmas as plans are well underway for this year’s Christmas Fair. The fair on Saturday, 10th December 10am – 1pm is a free event for the whole family. The hall will be brimming with stallholders providing festive flowers, wreaths and trinkets, homeware, jolly treats and gifts galore. Children can take part in arts and crafts workshops making something special for the Christmas tree and for Santa to nibble on Christmas Eve.  Santa and his elves will be greeting children in the grotto, delivering an early Christmas gift for those on his good list. Woodham Academy is delighted to welcome local vocalist, Sarah Dee, to perform an array of Christmas jingles. Media and Marketing Officer, Grace Porter said: ‘Sarah has just secured her first record deal, which is fantastic! We are thrilled she can fit us in to her busy schedule and are really looking forward to this year’s fair.’ Coming back to the stage for a second year are the dancers from Aycliffe Dance Academy who will be showcasing their talents with several show stopping performances. There will be a variety of workshops taking place, including biscuit decorating, arts and crafts and sports sessions. Grace continued: bring the whole family along, enjoy all of our free activities and browse the stalls while enjoying a glass of mulled wine. Limited stalls are still available; if you are interested in a stall please email g.porter@woodham.org.uk.
