Saturday 25th March 2017 saw the annual Friendship Day at Woodham Academy.  The event was attended by students due to start at the school in September 2017 and their parents.  There were a wide variety of activities for young people to take part in over the course of the morning which allowed them to get a taster of what secondary school life is like.  These included Crystal Maze, Trampolining, ICT (Minecraft), Technology and Cake decorating.

Not only were the activities great fun, they also provided the opportunity to get to know people and to make new friends. Parents had the opportunity to  meet with members  staff and  find out about how the school ensures young people making the transition from primary to secondary are well looked after and supported to thrive in the their new educational setting.
