Town Mayor Mary Dalton officiated at the Flag Raising ceremony at St. Clare’s Church to mark Armed Forces Week this Monday. The British Legion and the T.A. were present and two students from each class at Sugar Hill were chosen to represent the school.
The Rev. Elizabeth Bland said prayers and gave an address in support of our Armed Forces and a lone piper played as the flag was raised. Refreshments were served in the Church Hall afterwards.
