Staff and students dressed in onesies to raise funds for Children in Need. The School actively supports other local, national and international charities on an annual basis.  Pupils choose relevant charities to support; they plan and participate in a wide range of events and activities. These events raise pupil’s awareness of the needs of others.
The school raised a fantastic £66.60 from donations and a bake sale. One of the students Georgia Hutchinson, aged 14 baked cakes to sell on the day.
Karen Ferguson, Head Teacher said; “The students are so positive about Children in Need. It is an event they look forward to and talk about for weeks. It’s important for our students to be involved in the appeal and raise awareness for such a worthy cause.
I’d like to commend all our staff who work hard every day caring for our students, they are always enthusiastic to getinvolved in fundraising activities.”
