The latest event from Battle PT, in association with the Butterwick Hospice, takes place in Hamsterley Forest on Sunday 16th November from 10am. Whether you enter as a team or individual you will love “Battle It for Butterwick”.
This event is open to all abilities with alternatives at every obstacle. We have a climbing wall at the start ‘to get you warmed up,’ then use the natural terrain in Hamsterley Forest to test your strength and stamina with a surprise at the finish.
The course is 3-4 miles approximately with hills, mud and water and Butterwick boost points at every mile!
Johnny Harrison of Battle PT said, “We are really excited about this event, we have worked in the forest before, but this is completely different. Using the natural terrain and environment is a challenge itself. We have planned the route to take in everything the forest can offer and then thrown in some obstacles too, just for fun. It isn’t a race, the aim is to finish.”
Compete as part of a team (maximum of 10) or as an individual. There will be running marshals on the route to help motivate, guide and keep things safe.
This event will test your spirit and fitness, Hamsterley Forest will provide the testing terrain and obstacles your body will relish.
Come and enjoy the challenge and help raise money for a great cause!  Registration is only £30 with optional sponsorship. Call 01388 660644 to book or visit www.butterwick.org.uk/battlept
