ACORN Residents Association will be holding their monthly meeting on Thursday  14th November in Newton Aycliffe Royal British Legion Club at 6pm.  The main meeting will be preceded by a meeting of Little ACORNS from 5.30pm who will be planning Christmas activities and a pantomime visit. Some of the topical subjects being discussed with representatives of livin, Councillors, police and others will include: Review of annual Halloween part. Aycliffe Boating Lake Park and can we suggest improvements?
Review of Town centre redevelopment. How can we help support our retailers at a time when they are being squeezed between access problems and service charge increases?
Police priorities in Newton Aycliffe and Winter preparations. Newton Aycliffe’s continuous improvement programme and where to next?
ACORN encourage Newtonians to become involved as we have some brilliant voluntary organisations who need support. Why not come along and get involved in issues that will affect you or your children? If we don’t know your concerns we can’t address them.
Please come on Saturday 23rd of November to the Youth Centre between 11am and 3pm to see some of the events and activities which ACORN are involved in. A vote for ACORN will help us put on more events in our brilliant town.
