Keely Madgin cycled 100k on a stationary bike in Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre last Monday to raise money for Zoe’s Place a children’s hospice in Middlesborough. Her partner James can be seen behind her training on a running machine to keep Keely company. She completed the ride in 2 hours 34 minutes.
Keely decided on this personal challenge as it is something she could not have done a year ago and she specially wanted to do something to help a small local charity.
Over the last year, after joining the Leisure Centre gym and Slimming World she has lost 4 stone and dramatically improved her fitness.
